Develop your creative talents at the Shire Hall Gallery! With a packed programme of creative courses for adults and children led by professional artists and exhibitions to inspire and entertain, you never know what you might achieve!
The Multi Sensory Room is a place for anyone who wants to unwind and have fun! The room is equipped with lighting and sound effects, interactive toys, music and a bubble tube, which help increase the awareness of babies, toddlers and individuals with special needs.

Visit our historic courtrooms. For a number of years, the Shire Hall was the centre of Stafford’s legal activity. Court one is now a registered museum.
Our Children’s Zone is filled with fun family activities - and on Sundays there’s a free Art Cart!
There’s a coffee bar, craft shop, baby change and bottle warming facilities.
Can I take my camera…?
If you wish to take photographs, please ask a member of staff at the front desk. Photography isn’t usually permitted but we will make an exception for Big Picture participants!
How do I get there…?
By Train
Just five minutes walk from Stafford Station.
By Road
Stafford is just 3 miles from the M6 (Junctions 13 or 14). Follow signs to the town centre. The gallery is located in the heart of the pedestrianised area.
By Bus
There are bus stops are within five minute walk of the gallery, for more information visit travelwm.co.uk
The Shire Hall Gallery does not have dedicated parking but there are numerous pay and display car parks in the town centre.
When is it open…?
The opening times are as follows:
Monday – Saturday: 9.30am – 5pm (Tuesday 10am - 5pm)
Sunday: 1pm – 4pm
What about disability access…?
There are disabled toilets. Hearing loops are available. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
